The Norsigian Collection:
images authenticated by experts as the work of Ansel Adams
Our Gallery is proud to host a limited public viewing of the Norsigian Collection on Saturday, Sept 25, 2010. These are the images of the glass negatives that were purchased by Rick Norsigian in 2000 at a garage sale in Fresno, CA and recently authenticated by a group of experts as the work of Ansel Adams. The viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The exhibition will launch with a VIP red carpet opening on Thursday, Sept 23 and private viewing by invitation only on Friday, Sept 24. Over 60 images will be displayed digitally and 17 images will be displayed in museum quality frames.
In light of the international attention, the gallery has been deluged with calls and emails from around the world inquiring about the upcoming limited public exhibition. We are pleased to make this exhibition available to the fans of Ansel Adams, art experts and photographers without charge. However, as capacity is limited, a ticket is required. Tickets are on a first-come basis and can be obtained by registering at LostNegatives.com.
